  • Document Use – Adept at reading warranties and reading and filling in forms including work orders, parts and equipment orders, invoices
  • Oral Communication – Important to interact with customers, co-workers – follow-up on instructions
  • Thinking Skills - Job task planning and organizing skills require scheduling and planning of appointments.  The organization of vehicles and equipment is essential to a smooth operation of this position.

What do I do?

As a Duct Cleaning Technician your duties may include the following:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities including  requisition of materials and supplies
  • Interact with customers to provide information,  promote and provide service
  • Oversee the correct use of tools and equipment at each job location
  • Prepare work orders, parts orders, warranty information and invoices


Education/Training Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is usually required
  • Trade School, High School Vocational or equivalent
  • Experience in HVACR Installation and Maintenance and some experience working in the HVACR field is usually required
  • Driver's licence may be required.
